Greenwich Peninsula

QUEERCIRCLE is a London-based LGBTQIA+ led charity working at the intersection of arts, health, and social action, providing a public space for community-led exhibitions, workshops, and research.

QUEERCIRCLE is a registered charity and organisation-in-process based in the Design District of London. Founded in 2016 as a community response to the loss of LGBTQIA+ spaces, it serves as a permanent public home dedicated to cultivating conditions for communities to create more equitable futures. The organisation operates at the intersection of arts, health, and social action, building cultural and social infrastructure through an intersectional approach. QUEERCIRCLE's physical home includes a gallery, project space, and a community library. Their work is grounded in values of radical, anti-oppressive, and intersectional queerness, actively rejecting cisheteronormative culture and assimilation. Through their programmes, which include exhibitions, workshops, and intergenerational gatherings, they explore queer creative health, political education, and the development of shared knowledge. Rather than acting as a fixed institution, QUEERCIRCLE functions as a shape-shifting ecosystem where artists, organisers, and communities exchange resources, develop new practices, and challenge institutional structures that affect their lives.
