A community channel for Blackheath & Greenwich
Welcome to Blackheath & Greenwich is a curated local media channel — professional local video, editorial stories, photography and a local guide, made for the people who live, work and spend time here.
We built this because the area deserves better than a Facebook group, a council website or a generic directory. We wanted something that feels like a modern, independent local media organisation — editorial, premium and unmistakably of this place.
Everything you see here is chosen by our editorial team. We make the documentaries, write the stories, select the photographs and curate the events. The community can contribute — story ideas, event suggestions, photographs, business recommendations — but nothing submitted by the public is published automatically. Every submission goes privately to our editors first.
Your community. Your stories. Your neighbourhood.
That's not a tagline. It's the working method. We tell the stories of the people, charities, organisations, campaigns, schools and independent businesses that make Blackheath and Greenwich what they are.
