Independent co-educational school for children aged 3-11 in Blackheath, with a strong emphasis on learning, confidence, pastoral care and broad opportunities.
The Pointer School is an independent co-educational school for children aged 3 to 11, located on Stratheden Road in Blackheath. With a strong tradition of academic achievement and personal development, the school provides a nurturing environment where children are encouraged to grow in confidence, curiosity and character.
The school places a particular emphasis on pastoral care, kindness and a broad curriculum that extends well beyond the classroom. Children benefit from small class sizes, specialist teaching and a wide range of opportunities in sport, music, drama, art and outdoor learning.
The Pointer School's approach is rooted in the belief that happy, supported children learn best. Teachers know each pupil as an individual, fostering a culture of respect, effort and enthusiasm that prepares children not only for their next school but for life beyond it.
Located in the heart of Blackheath, the school is an established part of the local community, with strong links to families and neighbouring organisations across SE3 and the wider area.
