Finding Harmony: Wellness Day
National Maritime Museum
An uplifting afternoon of singing, songwriting and wellness activities for the African and African-Caribbean community, held at the National Maritime Museum.
Join Everyone’s A Singer at the National Maritime Museum for a special wellness event designed for the African, African-Caribbean, African Diaspora, and wider underserved communities. Finding Harmony: Wellness Day is an interactive and supportive space focused on how music, creativity, and community connection can enhance physical and mental health. The afternoon features a range of activities, including participatory singing and wellbeing sessions—with no prior singing experience required—alongside creative health spotlights. The event also facilitates important conversations regarding health inequalities, community trust, and the barriers some groups face when accessing support. Attendees will hear participant stories and have the opportunity to meet with local organisations, including the Greenwich Mental Health Hub and South East London Mind, to learn about available health resources. Whether you are a regular participant or new to the programme, this event offers a warm, inclusive environment to explore how creative approaches can help improve personal wellbeing and foster stronger connections within the local community.
