The Addicks of The Valley: south-east London's historic football club, with match days, a club superstore, stadium tours, bars on the concourse and the Charlton Athletic Community Trust.
Charlton Athletic have called The Valley home since the club made a former sand and chalk pit in SE7 its ground, and the story of how supporters campaigned to bring the club back home in the early 1990s is one of English football's great comeback tales. Match days are a proper community occasion, and The Valley is an easy hop from Greenwich and Blackheath.
Match days
Tickets are sold through the club's website, the ticket office and by phone. Before the game, Bartram's bar opens two to three hours ahead of kick-off with big screens, and the Fans' Bar opens three hours before, also showing live games. Food and drink are served on the concourses, which have TVs for televised fixtures.
