On Nelson Road, by Greenwich Market, GAIL's serves freshly baked sourdough, pastries and cakes, alongside breakfasts, lunches and barista coffee all day long. Everything is made with care, by hand and according to the season.
The Greenwich bakery was designed by Holland and Harvey to celebrate the area's maritime and astronomical heritage: a warm, traditional palette, dark stained timber and playful curved panelling inspired by clock mechanisms and the history of time. It's a lovely spot for a morning coffee, a proper slice of cake or a spot of lunch.
There's also a chilled fridge of seasonal salads and deli goods, a shelf of jams, biscuits and coffee to take home, and sharing boxes to order ahead for gatherings. Dogs are welcome in the seating area.
