Award-winning Indian fine dining at the InterContinental London – The O2, with two AA rosettes, river views towards Canary Wharf, a pre-show menu and the spiced Chai By The Shore afternoon tea at weekends.

Kinaara takes its name from the Hindi word for edge or riverbank, which suits it perfectly: the dining room looks straight out over the Thames to Canary Wharf. Inside the InterContinental London – The O2, it serves rich, comforting dishes from across India, cooked with real finesse, and has twice been awarded two AA rosettes for culinary excellence.

There are vegetarian menus, and every menu follows halal standards.

Before a show

A three-course pre-show menu runs on Tuesday to Saturday evenings, and you can add a cocktail upstairs at Eighteen Sky Bar. A covered corridor links the hotel directly to The O2's entrance H, so you won't miss the start.

Chai By The Shore

At weekend lunchtimes, Kinaara serves Chai By The Shore, an Indian-inspired afternoon tea created by the hotel's pastry chefs Tanuj and Narayan, winners of Bake Off: The Professionals 2024, with a Champagne option.
