Second-hand vinyl, CDs, DVDs and Blu-rays by Greenwich Market: bargain crates, cult films and rare finds, with cash or exchange for your records.
Music & Video Exchange at 23 Greenwich Church Street is a long-running second-hand music and film shop a few steps from Greenwich Market. It is part of Music & Fashion Exchange, founded in 1967, which also runs record, book, comic and vintage clothing shops in Notting Hill.
The Greenwich shop buys, sells and trades vinyl, CDs, tapes, DVDs and Blu-rays in all genres. Inside, crates of LPs run the length of the room, sorted by genre with plenty of bargain sections, while the walls are lined with a huge, well-organised selection of films, from cult titles and classics to mainstream releases, often for less than a streaming rental.
Prices are cut over time under a regular reduction system, so stock keeps moving and it is worth coming back to dig for new finds. Knowledgeable staff are on hand to help you track down bargains and rarities.
If you are clearing out a collection, the shop buys directly from customers for cash or exchange and makes offers on the spot; home visits can be arranged for larger collections. It is open seven days a week.
