Postmark is an independent greeting card and stationery shop at 13 Blackheath Village, one of a small group of Postmark shops that began in Balham in 2004. The Blackheath branch sits in the heart of the village, and the team describe themselves as lucky to have found a home here.
Cards are the heart of the shop, with walls of designs for every occasion: birthdays for every age and relation, weddings, anniversaries, engagements, new babies and christenings, new homes, exams, retirements, thank-yous and sympathy. There are humour and quote cards, photography and animal designs, and a strong range of blank art cards, including Royal Academy of Arts designs and art notecards in multipacks.
Beyond cards you will find notebooks and journals, notepads, pens from fountain to rollerball, pencils, highlighters, stickers and pencil cases, plus cuddly toys, activity and craft sets and partyware. Gift wrapping is well covered too, with gift bags in every size, bottle bags, tissue paper, ribbon, bows and tags.
In the run-up to Christmas the shop fills with single cards, family-relation cards, charity packs, advent calendars and festive wrap. Postmark also sells online, but the shop is the place to browse the full card wall.
