Greenwich antiques and junk shop since 1954: house-clearance finds, Victorian and Edwardian furniture, architectural salvage and curios, with a tea room and courtyard.
Established in 1954, The Junk Shop in Greenwich is a characterful destination for vintage enthusiasts and treasure hunters. Far from a polished boutique, this shop offers an ever-changing inventory sourced directly from estate sales and house clearances. Visitors can browse a unique selection of items including Edwardian and Victorian furniture, mirrors, lamps, antique fireplaces, and architectural fittings, ensuring no two visits are identical. The shop provides a nostalgic experience where every object has a history. Beyond the retail space, guests are invited to visit the tea room located at the back of the store. This cosy, vintage-inspired retreat features mismatched china and a relaxed atmosphere, serving homemade cakes, cream teas, and freshly brewed coffee. During warmer weather, patrons can enjoy their refreshments in an outdoor courtyard surrounded by vintage garden wares. The Junk Shop also carries out house clearances, which is where much of its stock comes from. Whether you are searching for a specific piece to furnish your home or simply seeking a peaceful spot to unwind, The Junk Shop offers a distinctive, authentic slice of Greenwich life that blends retail therapy with a charming break.
