The giant white tent on Greenwich Peninsula: home of The O2 arena and indigo at The O2, plus restaurants and bars, outlet shopping, a cinema, the Up at The O2 roof climb and a whole row of activities under one roof.
Once the Millennium Dome, The O2 on Greenwich Peninsula is a landmark you can see from right across south-east London. Under its famous canopy, held up by yellow masts, there's a whole indoor neighbourhood that's open every day.
Shows and events
The O2 arena hosts the world's biggest music tours, comedy, sport and family shows such as Disney On Ice, while the smaller indigo at The O2 puts you closer to the stage. Premium lounges, bars and dining are available on event nights.
Do more at The O2
Climb over the roof with Up at The O2 for views across the Thames to Canary Wharf, try indoor skydiving at iFLY, bowl at Hollywood Bowl, take on Boom Battle Bar, Clip 'n Climb, TOCA Social, Padel Social Club or the ThrillCoaster, catch a film at Cineworld, or spend an afternoon at Outlet Shopping at The O2. Many of these have their own listings on our guide.
Eat and drink
Dozens of restaurants and bars line the avenues inside, from quick bites before a show to sit-down dinners, so it's an easy place to make a night of it.
The O2 also hires out its spaces for conferences, parties and brand events. North Greenwich station (Jubilee line) is right outside, the Uber Boat stops at North Greenwich Pier, and the IFS Cloud Cable Car flies across the river to the Royal Docks.
