Blackheath Village interior design studio and shop: full home renovations, bespoke curtains, upholstery and rugs, and a curated edit of homeware, lighting and gifts.
treowe is an architectural interior design studio and shop on Brigade Street in Blackheath Village, overlooking the heath. It was founded by Lu Fitoussi-Findlay, an architectural interior designer, three-time renovator and the voice behind the interiors podcast When the Dust Settles, who has been designing London homes for over nine years. The studio leads full home renovations from first concept to final installation, managing both the design and the build, and works from the way a household actually lives inwards rather than fitting life around the structure. For smaller projects there are design sessions, and a bespoke service for curtains, blinds, upholstery, headboards and custom rugs, offered from measure to installation. The shop brings the same considered approach to a curated edit of homeware: tableware and ceramics, cushions and textiles, furniture and lighting, pantry goods, accessories and small gifts, plus Imprint, a hand-tufted rug collection made with Concept Hand Tufting. The team's own line is that you can come in for a gift and stay for a conversation, and a surprising number of their full renovations began that way. The range is also available through the online shop.
