Vets for Pets - Blackheath

Vets for Pets Blackheath, situated inside the local Pets at Home store, is a dedicated veterinary practice committed to providing high-quality, affordable, and personalised care for your animal companions. Led by Practice Owner Idara Umo, the clinic boasts an experienced team of veterinary surgeons, registered veterinary nurses, and support staff who prioritize the health and happiness of every patient. The practice offers a comprehensive range of clinical services, including routine vaccinations, health checks, dental care, soft tissue surgery, and orthopaedics. For more complex needs, the team utilizes in-house diagnostic facilities, such as digital X-ray, ultrasound, and a laboratory for rapid testing, alongside a specialized operating theatre and separate hospital wards for dogs, cats, and small mammals. With a focus on being 'locally owned, locally loved,' the practice also provides specialized support like laser therapy, nutritional advice, and weight clinics. They are a recognized learning facility, often hosting future nurses and vets. Clients can take advantage of the Complete Care Plan for cost-effective preventative healthcare. The team is proud to feature their 'Chief Catnipper,' Mr. Norman Bates, and remains focused on creating a positive, stress-free environment for both pets and their owners.
