Partner Membership Terms
The commercial terms that apply to business partnerships and Partner Portal services.
1. Your agreed package
Your package, agreed price, commencement date, minimum term and any complimentary period are shown in your Partner Portal or in the proposal/agreement issued to you. If an individually agreed written proposal differs from the standard package description, the individually agreed terms take precedence.
2. Founding 30
Approved Founding 30 businesses receive six complimentary months of Spotlight Partner membership for the confirmed dates shown in their membership record. A paid membership does not begin automatically at the end of that period. Any continuation and price are agreed with the business before paid service begins.
3. Minimum terms
Featured Business and Spotlight Partner are monthly services unless a separate minimum term has been agreed. Editorial Partner has a standard six-month minimum partnership period. Documentary Partner has a standard twelve-month minimum partnership period. One-off event and add-on services apply for the duration or scope stated when ordered.
4. Billing and payment
Charges are based on the price agreed with you, which may differ from the current public package price. The Partner Portal may show the agreed rate, payment status and amount recorded as paid. If there is any discrepancy, please contact us so that the record can be reviewed. No optional add-on is treated as purchased merely because you submit an enquiry or request through the portal.
5. Changes, upgrades and add-ons
Upgrade, package-change, seating-plan and event-promotion buttons in the Partner Portal submit a request to our team. They do not automatically change your package or create a charge. We will confirm scope, availability, timing and price before a change or paid add-on is activated.
6. Cancellation and opting out
You can request cancellation from the Partner Portal at any time. A request does not automatically end an existing minimum term or remove amounts already agreed or due. We will review the request and confirm the effective cancellation date, taking account of any minimum term, notice period or individually agreed arrangement recorded for your membership.
7. Listings, media and editorial content
Business information and submitted media remain subject to editorial and rights checks. You confirm that you have authority to provide material submitted through the Partner Portal and grant us permission to use approved material for the business profile and agreed promotional/editorial activity. We may refuse, edit or remove material that is inaccurate, unlawful, unsafe or unsuitable for the platform.
8. Analytics
Portal analytics report measurable activity on our platform, such as profile views and tracked outbound clicks. They do not prove completed purchases, bookings, telephone conversations or other actions that take place outside our website.
9. Availability and placement
Featured, Spotlight and editorial placements rotate and remain subject to relevance, editorial scheduling and availability. A package provides the inclusions stated for that package but does not guarantee a particular number of sales, bookings, leads, search positions or social-media impressions.
10. Account security
Partner Portal access is personal to authorised business contacts. Keep your password secure and tell us promptly if an authorised contact leaves the business or access should be revoked.
11. Privacy
Personal information used to administer the partnership and portal is handled in accordance with our Privacy Notice. Marketing communications can be managed separately from essential account and service messages.
12. Questions or disputes
If something in the membership record does not match what was agreed, contact the Welcome to Blackheath & Greenwich team. We will review the written proposal, invoice, correspondence and portal record before confirming the position.
